I feel like a total slacker about my blogging and the Elle website updates of late... at the very least, I've broken all known SEO rules because I have not maintained any kind of regular blogging discipline.  Truth is, I've been up each morning and headed to the new Elle office!  Yep, painting, sweeping, making mulitple runs to Home Depot, chasing down the carpet installers, getting permits, ordering new phone and internet service and all the other one thousand details essential to a successful opening. 

I stay in a constant state of "What have I done?" freak out, but I've signed the lease and committed to doing whatever is necessary.  And every step along the way, I have encountered absolutely zero resistance... so I'm thinking that the universe is giving me a big fat push forward toward the goal that I've had since I started taking my first real estate class more than a decade ago.  We've been working "cyber" for nearly four years, and it's time to take this giant leap of faith and set up shop.  I've been waiting for the right spot to open up, and once I found this, I didn't hesitate to move on it. 

I am optimistic that this is the absolute right thing and the right time for Elle to step up and out.  Our space is located in the Lake Highlands Village right next door to The Green Spot at Northcliff Drive and Buckner Blvd.  It's a block from White Rock Lake, a five minute walk from my house, and the space is visible from the intersection that, according to the DMV, sees 35,000 cars a day pass through it.  I couldn't ask for a better location!
