Dallas Real Estate News

If you've sat down with an Elle agent to list your home, you probably heard him or her talk about the fact that when you list your home with us it will become syndicated. At that point in the listing presentation you might already be suffering from information overload.  The agent is talking, but to you it sounds like an adult in a Charlie Brown cartoon, "Wah, wah, wah, wah, wah". You're still mentally freaking out about the list price the agent has recommended, or you're trying to imagine how on earth you'll be able to have the house ready to show in a week.  And that's perfectly okay.  It's not for you to worry about the details of what we will do to maximize the amount of market exposure that your house receives when you list with us to sell.

Since the internet is the number one vehicle for buyers in their search for a home to buy, it only makes sense that the more internet exposure we can create for your property, the greater the odds are that your buyer will find it. By syndicating your listing, that is what we are doing.  A syndicated listing looks kind of like this:

Through our website host, we are able to automatically link your listing information to multiple online real estate sources, such as Zillow, Craig's List, Trulia and others.  In addition, through our local real estate board, we are provided additional links through a syndication dashboard called Point2 (this is the source of the graphic above). With the click of the mouse, we are able to propagate a growing number of real estate web sites with your listing.  Savvy agents no longer rely solely on the mls or even their own website for marketing your home.  By utilizing every available internet site/tool/network, we are able to bring more prospects to your home than ever before.

These days with so many different avenues for discovering a property online, it's almost impossible to know the source site for someone's "Eureka!" moment when they are shopping for a house and finally see "the one".  But who cares, as long as they find it, right?
